EP 278. Mike Wareing: Embracing Humility and Lifelong Learning

Mike Wareing is one of the more inspiring human beings that I’ve had a chance to be around in Nosara.

Mike is a seasoned fitness expert with over 40 years of experience and a passion for helping others embrace a healthy lifestyle with humility and grace. Born into the family that started America’s oldest gym (Wareing’s Gym), Mike has cultivated a unique perspective on health and well-being which he shares generously with those around him. His relentless pursuit of personal growth and ability to find meaning in life’s challenges has made him an invaluable source of inspiration and guidance for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.

At 69 years old, his infectious energy and zest for life is beyond inspiring. I hope Mike’s wisdom and outlook on life is an empowering reminder of the power we ALL have to stay young, vibrant, full of life as we move through the rollercoaster of life.

EP 277. Raj Jana – March Reflection: Releasing Repressed Anger

Over the last several years, I’ve spent a lot of time learning how to feel several uncomfortable emotions like sadness, grief, and shame. But anger is another story.

I’ve always had a hard time connecting to my anger, and I know I’m not alone. Most of us are not taught how to deal with anger in the moments we feel it because of all the conditioning and “rules” we have around expressing anger. As a result, it just gets stored in the body and fuels reactive behaviors and emotional triggers. These emotional triggers don’t fully stop occurring until you release what’s been buried in the unconscious mind for years, some decades.

March was a profound month of learning to release repressed anger that never fully got felt growing up. I had a few profound healing experiences and enlightening conversations led to some significant breakthroughs in my emotional well-being.

Thank you all for being. I’m beyond grateful that I get to share this journey with you all. Love you guys!

EP 276. Lindsay Sukornyk: Learning To Be The Parent You Needed

This episode is with my soul sister and dear friend, Lindsay Sukornyk. Lindsay is a TEDx speaker, transformational leadership coach for game changers, mama of 4, and one of the most inspiring souls I know. Her depth and willingness to navigate the edges of her psyche is one of my favorite things about her. In this deep dive conversation recorded LIVE in Nosara, Lindsay and I discuss using parts therapy to practice self love, learning to parent yourself as a form of self therapy, and how awareness is THE most powerful medicine of all. It was an incredibly enlightening conversation that left me nourished from the inside out. I hope you guys enjoy listening to this one as much as I did recording.

In this episode, we hear from my dear friend Ali Katz, founder of newlawbusinessmodel.com, who shares her journey of reinvention after experiencing bankruptcy. We talk about how to lean into rock bottom experiences as catalysts for change, trusting that life has a much bigger vision for you than you can imagine during challenging times, and leaning into the deep inner work to alchemize everything that’s getting in the way of living your grand purpose. This raw and insightful conversation is packed with wisdom and inspiration. I hope you enjoy it.

EP 274. David Henzel: Choosing Love Over Fear

In this episode, we chat with my friend David Henzel, a serial entrepreneur and recovering introvert who is passionate about helping others move through their fears and create lives they love. David shares how a mantra he learned in a yoga class sparked a decade-long journey of doing things he was once terrified of doing. We also learn about David’s latest venture, Managing Happiness, an online program that teaches people how to apply business principles to improve their relationships and leadership skills. Tune in to discover how David’s journey can inspire you to transform your life too.

EP 273. Spencer Jacobson: The Value Of A Broken Heart

Spencer Jacobson is a purpose and embodiment coach, serial entrepreneur, facilitator of men’s work retreats, co-founder of Dance Meets Tantra, and forever a student of the healing arts – having extensively studied dance, sacred sexuality, somatic experiencing, cranial sacral therapy, and yoga.

Today, we talk about how taking courageous action in alignment with our heart’s deepest desires is actually what cultivates the capacity to stay grounded and be present with the highs and lows of life. This was a beautiful conversation about keeping your heart open inside of adversity, what it really takes to experience deep and nourishing fulfillment in every moment, and how to increase your capacity to receive all that life has in store for you. I hope Spencer’s wisdom inspires you to find the courage to stop denying your heart’s deepest desires and go after what you really want for in your life.
